Based on Vayus
- Prana Vayu - Inward/forward moving energy; chest/heart; intake and receiving
- Apana Vayu - Downward/outward moving energy; pelvis; grounding and elimination
- Samana Vayu - Centralizing energy; navel; digestion and integration
- Udana Vayu - Upward moving energy; throat/head; expression and ascension
- Vyana Vayu - Outward/expansive energy; whole body; circulation and distribution
Based on Chakras
- Muladhara - Root; base of spine; earth; grounding/survival
- Svadhisthana - Sacral; lower abdomen; water; creativity/emotion
- Manipura - Solar Plexus; navel; fire; power/will
- Anahata - Heart; chest center; air; love/compassion
- Vishuddha - Throat; throat; ether; communication/expression
- Ajna - Third Eye; between brows; light; intuition/insight
- Sahasrara - Crown; top of head; consciousness; spiritual connection
Based Bandhas
- Mula Bandha - Root lock; pelvic floor engagement
- Uddiyana Bandha - Abdominal lock; navel to spine and up
- Jalandhara Bandha - Throat lock; chin tuck
- Maha Bandha (Great Lock) - Engagement of all three main bandhas (Mula, Uddiyana, and Jalandhara) simultaneously.
