What does it mean to be a holistic engineer?

This work is very important to me as it builds the foundation for my engineerin practice. I critically examine the scientific method and develop a holistic approach to creating solutions to climate change: we may become nature's apprenctice, change our research methedology to empowering affected communities (instead of studying them), and approach our interconnected world through the all-embracing science of complex systems thinking.
